SMS TEXT MESSAGING TERMS & CONDITIONS
These SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern your participation in the text messaging service provided by Fiorita, Kornhaas & Company PC (“Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By opting in to receive text messages from the Firm, you agree to these SMS Terms and our SMS Privacy Policy.
1. SMS Text Messaging Service
Our SMS service allows the Firm and its authorized personnel to communicate with clients and other individuals by text message for legitimate business and client-service purposes.
Messages may include, but are not limited to:
- Appointment and meeting reminders;
- Responses to client questions;
- Requests for information or documents;
- Tax and accounting service communications;
- Payroll or bookkeeping communications;
- Status updates;
- Scheduling communications;
- Other communications relating to services you receive from the Firm.
This is primarily a conversational business-to-client messaging service.
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS messages from Fiorita, Kornhaas & Company PC at the mobile number you provided.
Your consent is not a condition of purchasing services from the Firm.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by replying STOP.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with the Firm and the status of your client matters.
You may receive more or fewer messages depending on your requests, appointments, communications, and professional services.
4. Message and Data Rates
We do not charge you for SMS messages. However, message and data rates may apply according to the terms of your wireless carrier or mobile service plan.
5. Opting Out
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying:

You may also use:
UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, or OPT OUT
After opting out, you may receive a confirmation message.
Please note that opting out of SMS communications does not terminate your relationship with the Firm or cancel any professional services agreement.

7. Privacy
We respect your privacy.
We do not sell or rent your mobile telephone number or SMS opt-in information.
Mobile information, including text messaging opt-in data and consent records, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may share information with telecommunications carriers, Microsoft, Microsoft Teams, SMS providers, technology providers, and other service providers when necessary to transmit, manage, or support our SMS communications.
8. Confidential Information
SMS is not intended to be a secure method for transmitting highly sensitive information.
Please do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, bank account credentials, credit card information, or other highly sensitive information by text message.
The Firm may direct you to a secure client portal or other secure communication method when sensitive information or documents need to be exchanged.
9. No Guarantee of Delivery
SMS messages depend on telecommunications networks and service providers. We cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered immediately or successfully.
Message delivery may be affected by wireless carrier availability, network conditions, mobile device settings, geographic location, or other circumstances outside the Firm’s control.
10. Changes to the SMS Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue our SMS service at any time.
We may also update these SMS Terms from time to time. The current version will be made available through our website or other designated location.
11. Acceptance
By opting in to receive text messages from Fiorita, Kornhaas & Company PC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these SMS Terms and our SMS Privacy Policy.
