Our Management Team

Robert J. Kornhaas, Jr., CPA

Managing Partner

Bob is a graduate of UCONN and has been a CPA for over 40 years. He is a Danbury, CT native where he still resides with his wife Kathy. They have a growing family that includes three children and four grandchildren. Bob serves as a Director for Savings Bank of Danbury, Chair of the Audit Committee.

Paula Lathrop, CPA

Audit Partner

Paula started her accounting career with EY after graduating from Siena College. She has over 30 years of experience and manages the audit practice at our firm as well as overseeing firm quality management. Paula has three grown sons and lives with her husband, Chris, in New Fairfield, CT.

Scott Fawcett, CPA

Tax Partner

Scott is a graduate of WCSU and has been a CPA with Fiorita, Kornhaas & Company for over 30 years. Scott manages the tax practice of our firm. Scott lives in Bethel, CT, with his wife, Dawn, and their two children.

Joy Ruppert, CPA

Audit Principal

Joy started her career with EY after graduating from Mercy College. She has over 15 years of experience as a CPA, with a primary focus on audit and assurance. Joy lives in Bridgewater, CT with her husband, Keith and their three children.

Joseph Wunderlich, CPA

Tax Principal

Joe is a graduate of Ithaca College. He started his career with Deloitte and has over 25 years of industry experience. He has three grown children, and lives with his wife Karen, in New Milford, CT.
